Mishka & Echo Park.
I’m excited for Mishka’s store opening in Echo Park, formerly known as Edendale. A lot of history in this little part of town including Little Manila where thousands of Filipinos still reside today. Film studios were actually in Echo Park first before they moved to Hollywood. Different actors, musicians (including Ryan Cabrera who also wrote a song titled “Echo Park” in his Take It All Away album), artists, yuppies, & hipsters have come & gone in the neighborhood & it’s actually one of the most diversified communities in the US. A lotta small independent business too from clothing to restaurants & bakeries. Dope spot!
